2008 Praxis Dry Syrah Rose Alexander Valley

The Syrah grapes are from the heart of the Alexander Valley; the same vineyard where we source our Merlot. The grapes for this second vintage of Syrah Rose were slightly riper than our 2007 grapes creating a wine that is fuller and richer. The wine is a beautiful salmon color with a floral, strawberry nose. Flavors of strawberry, watermelon and guava are accented by a little spice and vanilla. The wine is dry and has bright acidity with a medium body.
