We are blessed to have a good number of Syrah vines in all our old vineyard blocks, planted between 1892 and 1924. When we replanted three acres in 2001, we included one acre of Syrah clone 174, a small berried, low yielding selection prized for high quality in the Rhône. 2005 is the second year since 1995 that we have bottled an Estate Syrah.
