2012 Champoux Malbec

This reserve wine was crafted using the first Malbec grapes harvested from the famed Champoux Vineyards. Aged for 22 months in 50% new French oak barrels, there is a distinct peppery spice nose with flavors of rich, dark fruit. The oak contributes subtle vanilla notes and a great mouth feel.
